About this experience
Vang Vieng has reinvented itself as a centre for outdoor adventure among dramatic karst mountains. The day starts at Tham Nam, a water cave you explore by pulling yourself along a rope while sitting in an inner tube, head torch on.
After a barbecue lunch by the river, you kayak about 10 km down the gentle Nam Song with views of the limestone peaks, then finish with a swim at the Blue Lagoon. Suitable for beginners; life jackets and dry bags provided.
Groups are kept small and the pace relaxed, with time for photos and questions. A private version is available on request — just mention it in your enquiry, together with any dietary needs or mobility requirements.
