Vietnam holidays, planned by people who live there
Vietnam stretches more than 1,600 km from the misty mountains of the north to the rivers and islands of the south, and few countries pack so much variety into a single trip. In one journey you can drift between the karst towers of Ha Long Bay, cycle past rice paddies in Ninh Binh, tailor a suit by lantern light in Hoi An and end on the white sand of Phu Quoc.
Eurasia DMC is a European company with its own operational team in Vietnam. That means you sign a European contract and pay in euros, while the people looking after you on the ground are our colleagues — not a reseller three steps removed.
Where to go in Vietnam
- North: Hanoi's Old Quarter, Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay cruises, Ninh Binh, Sapa's terraced valleys.
- Centre: Hue's imperial citadel, Hoi An Ancient Town, Da Nang beaches and the Golden Bridge at Ba Na Hills.
- South: Ho Chi Minh City, the floating markets of the Mekong Delta and the island of Phu Quoc.
When is the best time to visit Vietnam?
Vietnam is a year-round destination, but the weather differs by region. For a full north-to-south trip, October to April works best for most European travellers. The north is cool and dry from November to March, central Vietnam is sunniest from February to August, and the south stays warm all year with a wet season from May to October.
