Cambodia: the kingdom of Angkor
Few places on earth match the scale of Angkor. The temple complex near Siem Reap covers more than 400 square kilometres, from the five lotus towers of Angkor Wat to the smiling stone faces of the Bayon and the tree-wrapped ruins of Ta Prohm. With the right guide and timing, you can experience it without the crowds.
Beyond the temples, Cambodia rewards slower travel: floating villages on the Tonle Sap lake, the riverside boulevards and royal palace of Phnom Penh, and the pepper farms and sleepy coast around Kampot.
Best time to visit Cambodia
The cool, dry months from November to March are the most comfortable. April and May are very hot, while the green season from June to October brings dramatic skies, lush landscapes and far fewer visitors.
Combine Cambodia with Vietnam or Laos
Siem Reap is a short flight from Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City, which makes Cambodia a natural add-on to a Vietnam holiday. We handle the cross-border logistics, visas advice and connecting flights so the journey feels seamless.
