About this experience
Lao food is one of the least known — and most delicious — cuisines in Asia. With your chef, browse the Phosy market for galangal, lemongrass, dill and river fish, and learn how Lao cooks balance sour, bitter and fresh flavours.
In a peaceful garden kitchen by the river you prepare five dishes, including laap salad, mok pa steamed in banana leaf, jaew dipping sauces and perfect sticky rice in a bamboo basket — then enjoy your meal together.
Groups are kept small and the pace relaxed, with time for photos and questions. A private version is available on request — just mention it in your enquiry, together with any dietary needs or mobility requirements.
