About this experience
The morning is devoted to Cambodia's royal and cultural heritage: the Throne Hall and gardens of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda with its floor of silver tiles, and the National Museum, home to the world's finest collection of Khmer sculpture.
In the afternoon your guide sensitively explains the Khmer Rouge period at the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21) and the Choeung Ek memorial, an essential and moving visit for understanding today's Cambodia. You may skip this part and enjoy a riverside café and the Central Market instead.
Groups are kept small and the pace relaxed, with time for photos and questions. A private version is available on request — just mention it in your enquiry, together with any dietary needs or mobility requirements.
